Very easy route, to initiate you in the world of Nordic Walking. Linear route TO and FROM La Marineta Cassiana beach until the end of les Rotes.
La Marineta Casiana beach is the only sandy beach in the Les Rotes area.
Along this route we will find different types of pavement, sections of pavement and promenade, areas of land and areas of asphalt, which will allow us to work on different types of pavement.
The great beauty of this rugged landscape stands out, where the green and blue colours of the sea stand out, as well as the transparency of the waters and the nooks and crannies of the coast. From the beginning of the rocky coves we are in the Cape San Antonio Marine Reserve, so the whole area that includes the coves and the Cape up to the most eastern point of it, is environmentally protected and feels part of the Montgó Natural Park.
In the last section of the walk, if we raise our eyes to the right (in the opposite direction to the sea) we can see a small tower on a hill. This is the Gerro Tower, a 16th century defensive watchtower that we can also visit on another day by taking the walk that leads to it. Even before we arrive, we can see the cliffs of Cape San Antonio, which are 160 metres high. Although it is at the end of the Las Rotas road where the views are most impressive.
